Wild & Boujee Ranch sits along the Colorado River in Smithville, Texas — about an hour from Austin. This is a fully renovated 3,500 sq ft modern farmhouse built for groups who want space, comfort, and something to remember. This guide covers everything you need to know from arrival to checkout. What We Don't Provide: Charcoal, lighter fluid, firewood, bug spray, or slippers. Please bring anything you need for fires and grilling.

Hot Tub &
Fire Pit

$15 / Hour — Must Be Scheduled in Advance

The private hot tub seats 10 and is available year-round, 24 hours a day. The fire pit is set up for outdoor evenings with plenty of seating. Both run on propane and need to be turned on for you — they don't self-activate.

To use either, just reply to your pre-arrival message or text us directly with your preferred time. We'll get it scheduled and ready for you.

No requests accepted after 9:00 PM if not previously scheduled
Plan ahead: If you want the hot tub or fire pit on your first night, let us know before you arrive. We can't accommodate last-minute requests after 9 PM.

House Rules

  • 01No smoking inside. $500 fine — smoke sensors are installed and active.
  • 02No shoes inside the home. Stickers from the grass track in and are very sharp.
  • 03No weapons of any kind — guns, bows, BB guns — and no fireworks on the property.
  • 04No balloons outside. They pop in the sun and scatter across the property.
  • 05Keep all gates closed at all times.
  • 06Do not feed or touch the animals — donkeys, cows, or any other animals on the property.
  • 07Events and parties require prior approval and an event fee based on guest count. See event fee schedule below.
  • 08Only registered guests are allowed on the property. No unapproved additions.
  • 09Pets must be pre-approved and listed on the reservation. $150 per pet, 2 dogs max. No pets on furniture or beds.
  • 10Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Respect other guests and campers on the property.
  • 11All trash must be placed in the trash cans by the front gate.
  • 12Pool use is at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. 6 ft depth. Children must be supervised at all times.
  • 13River use is at your own risk. Conditions can change quickly. Children must be supervised near the river at all times.
  • 14Do not drive on grass or lawn areas. $500 fine applies — sprinklers can be damaged.
  • 15Fires are only allowed in the designated fire pit area and must never be left unattended. Fully extinguish after use.
  • 16Do not move indoor furniture outside or rearrange large furniture.
  • 17Do not open or close the living room shades.
  • 18Septic system: flush toilet paper only. No wipes or other items.
  • 19Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.
  • 20Report any damages or issues immediately. Guests are responsible for damages during their stay.

Buescher & Bastrop State Parks

Hiking, biking, fishing, and scenic drives through the Lost Pines. Park Road 1C connects both parks and is a beautiful drive worth doing on its own.

Colorado River — Riverbend Park

Local river access right in town for kayaking, fishing, and hanging by the water. Easy half-day from the ranch.

Historic Downtown Smithville

Walkable Main Street with local boutiques, antique shops, public art, and a self-guided movie locations tour — Smithville has been featured in several films.

Smitty the Gingerbread Man

The world's (former) largest gingerbread cookie is now a giant statue at the end of Main Street, always dressed for the season. Quick stop, great photo.

Movie Sights Tour

Smithville served as the backdrop for Hope Floats and The Tree of Life. Pocket's Grille has signed scripts and props — self-guided tour available.

Local Parks & Recreation

Disc golf, skate park, and multiple city parks for easy in-town outdoor time. Good for families and kids.
